About Us
Meet Josh. The owner and primary occupational therapist at Kickstart Kids OT. Josh has over 9 years experience in paediatric occupational therapy. He has worked at children’s hospitals in Newcastle, Sydney and London. Recently he has focused on working with children at school and in the home. Josh lives in Newcastle and provides OT services to the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie area.
What we do
We offer comprehensive assessment and individualised therapy for babies through to school-aged children. We know that the early years in life are essential for learning and development. We work with families and support networks to help children build their confidence and reach their potential. We support children with early learning and play skills, motor skills, self-care skills and community or school participation.

The best part is that we come to you! We are a mobile service meaning that we work with children at home, in the community or at their education setting. Evidence shows that therapy is most effective when delivered in real-world environments.
